Artworks can include cities, buildings, barns, or structures of any kind.

Artist Over 65

Any subject matter or medium. Proof of age required.

Artist Under 30

Any subject matter or medium. Proof of age required. Under 18 must have permission from parents or guardians.

Fantasy

Artworks can include any subject that is imagined or not real, depicting a different world or time.

Figurative

Artworks of the human figure, depicted in isolation or in a larger environment.

Floral

Artworks of flowers and plants, whether indoors or outside. 

From Life

Subject matter taken from a live human or natural subject. 

Landscape

Artworks can include the landscape or other outdoor environments, and may include architecture, people, or animals. 

Nocturne/Sunrise/Sunset

Artworks can include night scenes, sunrise, or sunset scenes.

Plein Air (Outdoor) 

Artworks must be executed outdoors from life or nature.

Portraiture

Artworks that include the human face. 

Seascape/Water

Artworks can include sea, rivers, water, waterfalls, and other bodies of water. 

Self-Portraits

Artworks of the artist creating them. 

Still Life/Interior

Artworks include indoor still lifes or interior rooms, etc.

Transportation

Artworks can include trains, planes, automobiles, boats, motorcycles, buggies, bicycles, skateboards, or any form of transportation. 

Western

Artworks that include any depiction of the West or the Western lifestyle. 

You may enter any category above in any medium, and you may also enter into a category specifically for your medium.

Photography

Artworks made with a camera of any kind. All subject matter is included.

Digital Media

Artworks made with a digital tablet or computer, in Photoshop or other digital media. All subject matter is included. 

Sculpture

Artworks sculpted in clay, wax, or stone. All subject matter is included. 

Oil

Artworks of any subject matter in the oil medium only.

Watercolor & Gouache

Artworks of any subject matter in the watercolor, casein, and gouache mediums only. 

Pastel

Artworks of any subject matter in the pastel or oil pastel mediums only. 

Acrylic

Artworks of any subject matter in the acrylic medium only. 

Mixed Media

Artworks of any subject matter using mixed media.

Drawing

Artworks of any subject matter using drawing media including pencil, graphic, conte, and charcoal.
